REACH

REACH, the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals regulation is one of the most important pieces of legislation for many years and came into force on 1st June 2007.

We are fully aware of the requirements of REACH and we are committed to ensuring a smooth passage to compliance.

Some of the steps we have taken are as follows:

· We have assembled an internal task force to manage our progress through REACH,

· We have signed up to the CIA ReachReady scheme,

· We have sent letters to our customers advising of our intentions regarding REACH,

· We have contacted our suppliers to ascertain their intentions with the materials that they supply to us.

We intend to pre-register all the substances that we manufacture.
