Stephenson Speciality chemicals is the newest division of Stephenson group. At SSC we can provide release and foam control solution for a variety of industries including rubber, plastic, oil and paper. We are particularly strong in the supply of anti tack agents for the tyre industry and in lubricant technology for the textile industry where we are known worldwide.

The Alkon anti tack range for the rubber compounding industry is available in three physical forms, powder, liquid and dispersion, to satisfy all application requirements.

Pulling from the company's diversified chemistries we also supply many chemical bases and finished products to the horticultural and industrial sectors of industry. Applications of this range of products include, wire drawing, pipe lubricants, soap dispenser bases, water proofing in cement and mortars, laundry powders, tyre lubricants, hand cleaners, damp proofing and inclusion in pesticide control.

Our range of water soluble soaps, derived from fats, oils , fatty acids, and other natural bases, are used extensively throughout industry as either components of formulations or as functional products. Soaps from SSC are particularly suited to situations where biodegradability is important.

In our textiles range of products we supply lubricants, antistatic agents, softeners, markers and more recently flame retardants.
