Serfax Sodium Soaps
Sodium stearate soaps are incredibly versatile, with uses in a
wide variety of industries and applications. Stephenson Speciality
Chemicals produce the Serfax range of sodium soaps, a group of products
with numerous applications in the industrial sector. Technically,
they are all sodium stearates, but they are produced from a variety
of different fatty acid sources, giving each product it's own properties.
Serfax products come in three physical forms - powder, needles and
pellets.
Powders
Serfax powders are ideal for use in dry-blend products and have
applications in laundry powders, hand-cleaners and metal treatment
chemicals, among many others. Different grades are available, to
cater for a wide variety of uses.
Needles
As with the powders, different grades of sodium stearate needle
are available. Needles are easy to dissolve in water, and have uses
in the metal-treatment, textile and janitorial industries
Pellets
Due to the excellent gel-forming properties of these products,
they have found use as bases for air freshener gels, as well as
applications in metal treatments and tube drawing.
